At the banks of a lake south of Munich, we built this two-story treehouse. Supported by five beech-trees it offers a wonderful view across the water all the way to the mountains. A self-supporting spiral staircase leads around one trunk to the platform 10 feet off the ground. On the other side of the house a suspension bridge takes you to a second, smaller platform, from which you can shoot down a sliding pole. You can get back up climbing the net on the other side. Inside the tower a spiral staircase leads up to the second story, where you can curl up in pillows and blankets. If you’re up for some adventure, you might enjoy the 100 feet long zipline behind the treehouse, on which you can fly down towards the lake.
